Nakheel announced various developments at last Week’s Cityscape Global, including a twin-tower complex next to Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai. Comprising two 48-floor buildings, Ibn Battuta Residences will deliver 531 luxury apartments — 395 two-bedroom and 136 three-bedroom apartments — around the fourth quarter of 2019.
The project also has a podium-level health and recreation complex featuring a landscaped pool deck with pools for adults and children, a gym and four levels of car parking with 900 spaces.
“The apartments are ideally placed for people who work at the nearby Jebel Ali Free Zone or Dubai South,” said Ali Rashid Lootah, Na-kheel Chairman.
Nakheel also unveiled Palm 360, a twin-tower hotel and residential project on the Palm Jumeirah’s western crescent. With an anticipated for delivery in mid-2020,
Palm 360 features branded penthouses that either occupy an entire floor or two floors for duplexes.
The company said the residences will be released for sale soon.
Nakheel also announced that it has commenced work on Deira Islands Boulevard, a Dh5-billion, 20-tower community on Deira Islands. The project will have 16 residential buildings, two hotels and two serviced apartment complexes. Nakheel has appointed AE7 to oversee the design, engineering and construction of the project, which is set for delivery in the second quarter of 2020. A construction tender will be released early next year.
“Deira Islands Boulevard will be the defining landmark of the area traditionally known as Old Dubai, offering spectacular facilities in a self-sustaining community for more than 10,000 people,” said Lootah.
