Nakheel has delivered 90 new villas in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), with the first residents expected to move in next month.
The developer said the sold-out JVC Villas project, launched in December 2013 and sold for a combined value of Dh275 million, consists of 90 homes built in a circular pattern at the heart of the JVC community.
The JVC Villas project is among a range of developments by Nakheel in JVC, including 615 villas and town houses delivered in 2013, and the one-million-sq-ft Circle Mall, a new retail, dining and entertainment hub due for completion in 2017.
Nakheel said it is also constructing 28 landscaped parks in the area featuring a variety of amenities such as jogging tracks and children’s play areas. Two are already complete, with landscaping and design work in progress on the rest.
JVC spans nearly 570 hectares with a projected population of more than 250,000 people. Almost 100 buildings have been completed by third-party developers in the community, with another 320 at various stages of design and construction.
Each four-bedroom villa covers 3,655 sq ft and features extensive indoor and outdoor living space, including an expansive roof terrace. Nakheel said land scaping work is under way. The developer said it has completed all infrastructure work as well, including roads and streetlights. It has also handed over new plots to third-party developers constructing individual projects based on their own timelines.
