The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (DCAA) has launched the Soul of Dubai Guide, a one-stop referral source about the emirate.
Presenting a people's perspective of what visitors and residents can expect to experience in the city, the first version of the guide is designed to provide a perfect juxtaposition between Old Dubai and New Dubai, revealing the city's renowned gems from local eateries, heritage sites, quaint boutiques and organic markets to picturesque parks and beaches.
''The Soul of Dubai Guide will make a sterling new addition to Dubai's literary heritage, but this time narrating the story of our city through the eyes of its people,'' said Saeed Al Nabouda, Acting Director General of the DCAA. ''The guide will be the definitive referral source on Dubai's historical, cultural and creative experiences.''
Available in Arabic and English, the Soul of Dubai Guide is available for free in cafės, art galleries, airport lounges, cultural institutions, embassies and hotels, in addition to the Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing offices around the world. It can also be downloaded from the DCAA website: www.dubaiculture.gov.ae
