The Emirates Green Building Council (Emirates GBC) has accepted Emrill as a member, in recognition of the company's active involvement and contribution towards sustainable energy solutions.
Emrill solutions can produce savings of up to 40 per cent for buildings and developments. It is also the only integrated facilities management company equipped to provide full service energy solutions, from audit and analysis to design and installation for residential and commercial buildings.
"Emrill is delighted to have been awarded membership with the Emirates Green Building Council. We look forward to working with Emirates GBC and contributing towards their mission to build a more sustainable and energy efficient environment in the United Arab Emirates," said Simon Roopchand, General Manager of Emrill Energy.
Continuing with its mission to reduce carbon emissions, Emrill has also signed an agreement to reduce the environmental impact of all the residential and commercial buildings managed by Novus Community Management.
Emirates GBC was formed in 2006 with the goal of advancing green building principles to protect the environment and promote sustainability in the UAE.
