Anew real estate showcase is being organized in London, aiming to forge a stronger link between UK investors and the UAE property market. Launched at a press conference yesterday at the Burj Al Arab, Dubai Property Show will be held at Olympia London from February 27 to March 1 with around 120 exhibitions and a total exhibition area of 3,800 sq m.
Organiser Sumansa Exhibitions, which is also behind the Indian Property Show in Dubai, said it expected around 2,000 serious property buyers to visit the inaugural show.
“We are very proud to present the innovative and highly exclusive concept of DP Show,” said Sunil Jaiswal, CEO of Sumansa Exhibitions. “Dubai has already attracted global attention and created an extensive investment opportunity for the world, much of which revolves around the hospitality and real estate industry.
“Now, the DP Show intends to ride on this wave, creating aware- ness about the real estate opportunities in Dubai and highlighting the benefits of investing in property.
He adds: “If you are a real estate developer from Dubai or the UAE, with a keen interest in exploring new market opportunities and expanding your client base, the Dubai Property Show is the place to be in 2015.”
The organiser claims the event will allow exhibitors to reach a customer base consisting of financiers, investors and end users in the UK, which is yet untapped on a large scale by Dubai’s developers. In addition, the event aims to reach out to potential investors and strategic business partners from other European countries.
“Dubai has achieved great reputation worldwide as favourite tourist and business destination. On the other hand, British property investors are savvy, they understand the potential here and also value the no-tax policy on rental and capital gains, plus no restriction on repatriation of funds,” said Jaiswal.
