Cayan Group, one of the region’s leading real estate developers, bagged the prestigious Tower Project of the Year prize for its landmark residential property, Cayan Tower, at the recent Construction Week Awards. The building was declared the world’s tallest twisted tower at 307 metres by Guinness World Records.
The Construction Week Awards celebrate the achievements of the region’s contractors and recognise their excellence, corporate prowess and successes. Ahmed Mohammed Alhatti, President and Chairman of Cayan Group, received Cayan’s award at the event held at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai on December 10.
“Winning the Tower Project of the Year award demonstrates our commitment to develop unique and innovative real estate projects that leverage our capabilities, knowledge and creativity,” said Alhatti.
Designed by renowned architectural firm Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, Cayan Tower is situated in Dubai Marina and provides great views of the sea, marina and The Palm. Each floor is placed at an angle of 1.2 degrees to achieve the full 90-degree spiral.
Cayan Tower offers a luxurious lifestyle to its residents. It’s complete with an outdoor infinity pool and whirlpool, a state-of-the-art gymnasium, world-class spa, and kids’ play area. More than 80 per cent of the residential units are occupied.
Cayan Tower made its mark on Dubai’s skyline when it was inaugurated last year. The group’s other iconic developments in Dubai include Silverene, The Jewels, Dorrabay, Cayan Business Centre and La Residencia Del Mar.
Cayan Group also has offices in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where it is developing several luxurious projects such as Layaly Compound and Samaya. In Lebanon, the company is involved in the construction of Broumana Lands, an upcoming project in Broumana Village.
