Bin Majid Hotels and Resorts announced the launch of Bin Majid Tower, a hotel apartment in Abu Dhabi that is part of a Dh400-million investment to support the emirate's growing tourism industry. The hotel is due to open later this year.
The tower features 230 deluxe hotel apartments, which are all furnished and feature designated rooms for guests with disabilities and connecting rooms for families. It will also have a fitness centre, health club spa, salon for women and conference room.
The company said the investment is part of a strategy to expand its footprint globally and increase its presence in Abu Dhabi. Bin Majid's portfolio includes Nehal Hotel and four hotels in Ras Al Khaimah - Beach Resort, Beach Hotel, Acacia Hotel and Mangrove Hotel.
Dr Ali Kasapbashi, COO of Bin Majid Hotels and Resorts, said: "We are actively exploring other opportunities to expand our footprint in the UAE."
