Hotels, residences and a resort community all rolled into one. It is not a dream any more, it is a reality. The stylish and unique mixed-use Al Zorah project that is coming up in the emirate of Ajman promises all this and much more.

Stalled in 2008 but now restarted, a lot of changes were made in its original plan in line with the current trends in the hospitality sector to attract investors towards a brand new, unexplored terrain in the emirate.

Plans have been drawn up for a multi-district township which will include retail outlets, hotels, commercial towers, residences and more.

Al Zorah will have five districts: Gateway with retail shops and high-rises, Golf Community featuring an 18-hole golf course and villas, Beachfront with resorts, Peninsula with souks, and entertainment and lifestyle centres, and Creekside with hotels, homes and a mangrove exploration track.

The freehold and free zone project’s Phase one is ready to roll, with an 18-hole golf course, two resorts and hotels, a clubhouse, four marinas, a boardwalk, a wellness centre, a beach club, golf villas and serviced apartments, though the whole project will take at least a decade more to unveil completely. Phases two and three will have retail and leisure amenities. A community mall may be included in the plan.

Untouched natural beauty abounds in Al Zorah. Never before has a development that offers the conveniences of commercial and residential community living in the midst of nature been conceptualised here in the country.

The development is surrounded by a gorgeous stretch of natural and protected mangroves that cover nearly 1 million square metres; thus, life in Al Zorah is a conscious commitment towards sustainability, and every aspect within the development has been carefully designed to preserve its tranquility and natural beauty.

Handy Hints
• The Al Zorah development will be divided into five districts
