A project to build 234 villas in Al Quoz 2 and Oud Al Muteena 1 worth Dh85 million was approved.
Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and Chairman of Dubai Municipality, approved the project, which is in line with Dubai Government’s directives to provide suitable housing for its citizens so they can live a dignified life.
Hussain Nasser Lootah, director-general of Dubai Municipality, said that the municipality has already started building in Oud Al Muteena and Al Quoz, with a space of 1,200 feet per villa.
He said that 122 villas will be built in Oud Al Muteena 1 and 112 in Al Quoz 2. The buildings will follow green building and sustainability standards, which include using solar energy for water heaters.
