- Abdulla Bin Sulayem, CEO, Seven Tides and Asteco
He joined the real estate development firm Seven Tides in 2011 after a successful stint with master developer Nakheel. At Seven Tides, Bin Sulayem took overall responsibility for the company's five-star properties, including Anantara Residences, Movenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate, Movenpick Hotel Deira, Oceana Residences and Dukes Hotel in London. Launched in 2004, Seven Tides is a privately held luxury property developer and holding company with a portfolio of properties in some of the world's most desirable locations. In 2012, Bin Sulayem was also appointed CEO of Asteco, a real estate services firm.

- Ahmad Khalaf Al-Marri, General Manager, Union Properties
Al-Marri will present three projects at Cityscape: a new highrise residential development in Dubai Motor City, the Green Community West in Dubai Investments Park and the Green Community expansion in Motor City. Union Properties' Dh800-million residential development in Motor City features five high-rise buildings, while its Green Community Phase Three development, an extension to the existing Green Community West, comprises 210 units. In association with National Bonds, Union Properties will also showcase Phase One and Two of the Green community expansion in Motor City. Phase One has 78 town houses, while Phase Two features 74 town houses and 56 apartment units.

- Ahmed Al Fahim, Executive Director of Marketing, Communications, Sales and Leasing, Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC)
TDIC, the master developer of major tourism, cultural and residential destinations in Abu Dhabi, will showcase its residential developments on Saadiyat. If you need to know more about TDIC's future projects, talk to Al Fahim. TDIC's stand will house a detailed model of the Saadiyat Cultural District, which will show the scale of developments that are expected to come online on Saadiyat in the next few years. Throughout the real estate event, TDIC's representatives will be available to meet with potential investors to discuss opportunities available across Saadiyat, which the developer says promises strong returns, and to answer queries about the company's range of properties.

- Alan Robertson, CEO—Middle East and North Africa (Mena), JLL
If you want to know the key real estate trends and investment Opportunities in Dubai, look for Robertson, who has more than 30 years experience in the industry. He was appointed CEO of JLL for Mena in 2011. Robertson will be at Cityscape to release JLL's third-quarter report on the property sector in Dubai, which will provide JLL's views on the office, residential, retail and hotel markets. JLL is present in 40 countries in the region and has advised clients on more than $1 trillion (Dh3.67 trillion) worth of real estate, hospitality and infrastructure projects.

Last year the chairman of Nakheel summed up his thoughts on the property market saying: ''We have lots under construction and more to be built.'' His words indeed reflect the current positive market trend. Nakheel's portfolio in Dubai includes the Palm Jumeirah, The World, Deira Islands, Jumeirah Islands, Jumeirah Village, Jumeirah Park, Jumeirah Heights, The Gardens, Discovery Gardens, Al Furjan, Warsan Village and International City. Together they span nearly 14,000 hectares and provide homes for more than 200,000 people. Its retail developments include Dragon Mart, Ibn Battuta Mall and a growing number of neighbourhood malls and new large-scale projects.

- Barry Ebrahimy, Head of Commercial, Al Hamra Real Estate Development (AHRED)
Ebrahimy is the man to meet to find out about investment opportunities in Ras Al Khaimah and AHRED, a property development group owned by the ruling family of the emirate. AHRED's flagship development is Al Hamra Village, a residential community located around 45 minutes from Dubai. The master-planned development includes 1.5km of pristine beaches, 1,089 villas and town houses, 2,444 residential apartments, five resort hotels, an 18-hole golf course, a marina and a shopping mall — all within a fully integrated community. Steven is responsible for developing, managing and delivering Business strategy to maximize shareholder value and return on investment. Before joining Asteco in 2004, he worked for ten years in Southeast Asia managing some of the region's best-known property portfolios. He has a unique understanding of the operation, maintenance and planning involved in managing portfolios with the goal of achieving real estate objectives. Asteco was founded in Dubai in 1985. It offers independent market analysis, design development consultancy and valuation services, sales and leasing services and asset and property management services.

- Kevin P. Morgan, CEO, Crystal Lagoons USA
Morgan joined Crystal Lagoons in June 2012. He is in charge of US operations and the firm's global expansion in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Morgan's responsibilities include leading the formation, operations and management of the joint venture between Chicago's The John Buck Company and Mubadala Development, the strategic investment arm of the Government of Abu Dhabi. Crystal Lagoons has more than 300 projects in 60 countries, including eight high-profile developments in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Dubai. Once completed in 2018, the project in Dubai's District One will be the largest Crystal Lagoon in the world.

- Mitsuo Nakamura, Chairman, Nikken Sekkei
Nakamura is the man to talk to if you are interested in architecture and designs. He began his tenure with Nikken Sekkei, one of the world's largest architectural design firms, in 1967 as an architect. Nikken Sekkei will showcase projects from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Russia and Mongolia at Cityscape. Nikken's projects in Dubai include an integrated waterfront community in Dubai Festival City and the second phase of the Dubai Cultural Village.

- Mohammed Al Habbai, Chief Officer for Urban Planning and Infrastructure, Dubai Properties Group (DPG)
Al Habbai is part of the senior leadership team for the newly created DPG holding company, which was announced in March. He oversees the development and delivery of core infrastructure in DPG's developments, including Jumeirah Beach Residences, Business Bay, Dubailand and Culture Village, and works with government agencies and the Dubai Land Department to plan key infrastructure facilities in these locations. Dubai Properties (DP), DPG's real estate development arm, will showcase its portfolio of key projects at Cityscape, including Mudon and Remraam in Dubailand and Manazal Al Khor in Culture Village. DP will also launch a number of significant projects at Cityscape.

- Rod Stewart, Managing Director—Property, Atkins
Stewart is Managing Director for the property sector in the Middle East and Country Managing Director for Qatar. He was previously with Wates Group and has held senior positions at both Hyder and Halcrow. Atkins has exhibited at Cityscape almost every year since the event was launched. Stewart says Cityscape is the most vibrant and purposeful real estate event in the region. In Dubai, Atkins' portfolio includes the Dubai Opera and Al Habtoor Residences. At any given time, Atkins is working on between 20 and 30 real estate projects at various stages of design and development and of varying size and scope.

- Saeed Mohammed Al Qatami, CEO, Deyaar Development
Accountable for the overall operation and management of the company, Al Qatami is in charge of setting Deyaar's overall strategic direction, identifying priorities, monitoring performance and driving growth. Deyaar will present several projects at Cityscape, including Montrose and The Atria. Montrose will take shape in DuBiotech, a life sciences cluster under Tecom Investments featuring two residential towers and a hotel apartment. The Atria marks Deyaar's foray into the hospitality sector and follows the company's recent allocation of up to 1 million sq ft of land for the development of hospitality property in the coming years.

- Simon Azzam, CEO of Communities Business Unit, Majid Al Futtaim Properties
Azzam has nearly three decades of experience managing real estate projects in the Middle East. He currently leads the development of a range of mixed-use projects in the region, including Al Zahia in Sharjah, Waterfront City in Beirut and The Wave in Muscat. ''[Families] want to live in safe, friendly, amenity-rich neighbourhoods that can accommodate their modern lifestyles, and where they can live, work, play and even learn in the same place,'' says Azzam. Bader Saeed Hareb, Chief Property Officer of the Communities Business Unit, and Lee Tabler, Executive Director of Development, will be speaking at the Future Cities Conference and the Global Real Estate Summit.

El Chaar joined Damac in 2005 as Vice-President of International Sales. Since 2011, he's been the company's Managing Director.
