If tranquility and living with nature are in your cards, look no farther than The Springs as did the Walawalkars who made this prestigious community their home way back in 2008.
The Springs, a leafy community and an amalgam of villa living and community atmosphere, is truly a homeowner’s delight. It is a cosy and family friendly development encompassed with a wide range of conveniences and amenities, making it a much sought-after locality. The unique selling point of The Springs is its being a well-established community characterised with scenic waterways and sand-coloured townhouses that epitomise a soothing residential haven.
Part of the Emirates Living community, The Springs is located near Shaikh Zayed Road, within easy access to business hubs like Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, Dubai Knowledge Village and the popular Dubai Marina area. While Mall of the Emirates and Ibn Battuta Mall are located in proximity to this villa-only community, reputed schools like Emirates International School, Dubai International Academy and Dubai British School are also located close by.
Sanjiv Walawalkar, vice-president of a multinational company, and Beena Walawalkar, a consultant physiotherapist, reside in Springs 8. Their children, Mugdha and Anish, study in universities abroad.
Moving from their earlier residence in Karama, Beena says that living in The Springs is simply a class apart. “We always fancied staying in a villa with a garden. It was a dream which we were looking forward to. As we scouted around for a property to buy, our primary objective was to own a home that offers a decent space for the family including the maid, comes with a small garden and is located a little away from the main road to avoid noise pollution.”
“A calm and quiet place without any parking hassles and yet close to the main city for convenient schooling was something that we were looking at. Our residence fulfills all the criteria and we abso-lutely adore being a part of this beautiful and convenient locality,” she adds.
Beena reveals that the joys of living in The Springs are many. “Our villa gives us enough privacy and the beautiful garden is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a tiring day. Once back from work, it feels like heaven at home.”
She further narrates that the community is calm and quiet, which offers complete peace of mind.
It is also equipped with recreational facilities like 24-hour guarded swimming pools, barbeque areas, play courts, and walking tracks by the beautiful lakes.
Beena reckons that there are no parking hassles in the area, which were part of the daily life in Karama.
Facilities in the community are well-maintained and the maintenance charges are reasonable.
The family is happy that they can find everything within reach. “The community offers everything in the vicinity – clinics, supermarkets, health clubs, schools, fuel stations, eating joints. Being a gated community, safety and security is taken care of,” says Beena.
She concludes by saying, “Our move to The Springs has improved our quality of life (including social life) in terms of work-life balance and better time management. In the past seven years of our stay here, there is hardly anything negative to talk about The Springs.”
