Arabian Ranches is one of Dubai’s most sought-after and best-established family communities.
It has quality housing, beautiful surroundings and excellent facilities like communal swimming pools and children’s play areas in each enclave.
A championship golf course acts as a social hub with regular events, while a community center features a good-sized supermarket as well as coffee shops.
Carmina Gonzalez-White and husband Aaron White are happy residents of Terranova at the Arabian Ranches.
Carmina works as a flight attendant, while Aaron is the GM of Hitachi Data Systems. They have been living in Arabian Ranches for months, and have previously lived in localities like Dubai Marina and Umm Suqueim 2.
There were two main reasons for the Whites to buy a property in Arabian Ranches. Firstly, being a gated community, it offers adequate safety and security. Secondly, it offers easy proximity to Aaron’s workplace at the Dubai Media City through the Umm Suqueim Road.
Carmina has to travel very frequently as part of her job. She says that Arabian Ranches provides easy access to the airport via Al Khail Road and Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.
She adds that she is extremely happy that Arabian Ranches is a far more peaceful locality than Dubai Marina.
It is also a pet-friendly locality with lots of open spaces for dogs to run around. A local veterinary clinic is available to help owners deal with pet health problems.
Arabian Ranches enjoys accessibility to all major roads like Shaikh Zayed Road, and is just a 20-minute driving distance from all the major parts of the city like New Dubai and Downtown Dubai.
One of the biggest features of the community is that it offers a fabulous lifestyle with a host of pre-mium facilities which is hard to find in other localities, the Arabian Ranches Golf Club being just one of them.
The villa community features a lake that adds a unique charm to the place as does the pretty land-scaping.
JESS, one of Dubai’s highly reputed schools, is located in the community. Other highly regarded schools like King’s School Dubai and Safa Community School are also nearby.
With MotorCity in its immediate neighborhood, the residents of Arabian Ranches also get to enjoy the facilities that are available there. These include the Dubai Autodrome and Kartdrome.
Carmina says she loves the fact that she has easy access to the shops in MotorCity, particularly the Spinneys supermarket, although Geant supermarket in the Arabian Ranches community center also comes in handy.
The upscale community has all the perks of high living, though not free from niggles.
The major woe of its residents relates to the arduous traffic situation while getting in and out of the community especially during peak hours.
The flight attendant says she avoids moving out of the development at these hours to avoid the traffic nightmare.
Also, she suggests that the community can benefit by having a gas station nearby, maybe in MotorCity or somewhere in Dubai Studio City, for the convenience of residents and visitors.
