Business Bay stands as yet another testament to the epic role that the Creek has played in shaping Dubai to its current status.

Centralized location, uninterrupted views and being in close proximity to major landmarks in Downtown Dubai are major selling points of this locality, which extends from Ras Al Khor to Shaikh Zayed Road.

Manoj and Chaya Bhojwani have been staying at Executive Towers in Busιness Bay for the past two years. They reside in a Duplex Garden Apartment in West Heights 5. Manoj owns a garments business in Deira and Chaya is a homemaker. Their daughters Ashika, Diya and Dwiti are all students of Emirates International School in Jumeirah.

“We chose Executive Towers as our permanent home because of its central and convenient location. My kids’ school is only a 15-minute drive, and I get to my workplace in 30 minutes. We are at a five-minute drive from The Dubai Mall, one of the most happening places of Dubai. Another prime reason we chose this location is its accessibility to the Busιness Bay Metro Station which is barely a five-minute walk from our house,” explains Manoj.

Earlier residents of Bur Dubai, the Bhojwanis now revel in their new abode. Chaya says, “Busιness Bay is a very child-friendly locality, and with three kids in the house, we were looking out for a house where kids could go out and play safely without the fear of cars passing by. Busιness Bay has a lot of green spaces for the kids to move around and play in safely.”

Chaya is amazed to see how their lifestyle had undergone a radical change (for the better) with the move to their new place. The amount of space has allowed the Bhojwani daughters to have individual rooms to themselves. Their apartment comes with a spacious terrace as well.

With the newly-opened Bay Avenue Park, there is something interesting to do for every age group. “My younger kids use the trampoline and the play area while Manoj and our eldest daughter, Ashika, use the walking track. There is a facility for hiring bikes on hourly basis. These things were missing in our old apartment as there was no space for the kids to play. To go for a walk, we had to drive to Zabeel Park to use the walking track,” opines Chaya.

The Executive Towers has a great community feel. The evenings see the park full of kids of all age groups playing or cycling. The locality has a host of conveniences ranging from a clinic, pharmacy, supermarkets, swimming pools, gymnasiums and a party hall within the towers.

The fact that the entire structure of Burj Khalifa is visible from the Bay Avenue Park- is one of its unique selling points. As a result, Business Bay has become a pivot point for viewing the fireworks at the world’s tallest building on New Year’s Eve.

A little pulled down by the exorbitant maintenance charges, Manoj explains, “We are being charged Dh15.50 per sq.ft. and ours being a Garden Apartment, we have an internal built-up area of 4,800 sq.ft. and an outside terrace of 1,300 sq.ft., so our maintenance charges are quite high. Therefore, reduction in these charges is highly called for. Barring this, Executive Towers is a perfect place to live in. It must be one of the best localities in the local freehold sector.”
