Jumeirah Park is a villa community located in the neighborhood of Jumeirah Islands, Emirates Living and Jumeirah Lakes Towers. Its strategic location makes it a much sought-after freehold locality in Dubai. A community designed with a sharp focus on providing peace, privacy and comfort, Jumeirah Park is all about living in stylishly designed villa communities with homes anchored on themes of heritage, rustic and regional.
Sanjit Singh Gill and Namrata have been staying in a three-bedroom villa in Jumeirah Park for over a year now. Sanjit is the General Manager at ICLP, a UK-based advertising agency that specializes in loyalty programs, while Namrata is a proud homemaker.
Before moving to Jumeirah Park, the Gills lived in a two-bedroom apartment at Jumeirah Beach Residence. Explaining how she is happy to be part of this villa community, she says, “We loved it in Jumeirah Beach Residence for the buzz, liveliness and the glamour attached to the area. Though moving into a villa was a sea change, both my husband and I love Jumeirah Park for the layout and spaciousness of its villas, and peace in and around the house. Also, Jumeirah Park is easily accessible. This community is right in the middle of the city, which makes commuting to places quite easy without getting stuck in traffic, which was a big hassle in JBR. Sanjit also finds it easy to commute as his office is situated in Dubai Media City which is a 15-minute drive from our house.”
The added advantage of having a huge garden allows the Gills more room to themselves and facilitates frequent entertaining. “Socially, we are able to entertain more guests now as there is more space in the house, and the garden is a great asset for this purpose. My husband loves the outdoors so we do a lot of barbecue parties.”
Sanjit feels that the price appreciation for their villa in the last nine months has made it worth the investment. “The property price at the time of purchase was well within our budget and we simply love our home and the privacy and peace it offers. The neighbors are friendly but non-interfering,” he comments.
Talking about the various conveniences available in the locality, Namrata explains, “The locality is still developing so not many options are available right away, but they are on their way. There is a community park right behind our house which is being done and beautified. The town center, which is a two-minute drive away, is on its last stage of opening so getting home essentials will be far easier. Ibn Battuta Mall is a 10-minute drive so things are not that difficult even in the current scenario.”
As far as maintenance services are concerned, Namrata happily comments, “When we moved in, Nakheel fixed all the flaws free of charge for the first six months, which I regard as excellent service.”
Namrata and Sanjit are quite happy with the community especially with the way it is shaping up gradually, except that the ongoing construction creates a slightly noisy, dusty environment during the day. “But we are not getting impatient because in the future, it only means more people moving in, thereby making the community livelier,” says Namrata.
“The overall experience is peaceful. Jumeirah Park is quiet but not deserted. I hear birds tweeting and flocking in my garden, which I missed immensely living in a high-rise apartment previously. In short, we love where we live now,” she exclaims.
