Dubai’s new central business district has a hive of residential clusters in an exquisitely designed community that offers a vibrant lifestyle. Located at the center of Shaikh Zayed Road (SZR) and Downtown Dubai, Business Bay is, indeed, a city lurking within a city.
It has over 240 buildings of residential and commercial units, with shops at the ground level. With residential towers overlooking the Dubai Water Canal Project, Downtown Dubai and the Arabian Gulf, uninterrupted sweeping scenes turn glorious in the evenings. Business Bay’s landscaped greenery also sets a mood of peace and contentment. Thus, it has become a sought-after place for professionals who want to stay close to work, and get easy access to recreational areas and entertainment hot spots.
Among the area’s prime structures are The Executive Towers, Burlington Tower, The Bay Gate, Grosvenor Business Bay Tower, One Business Bay and The Prism. There are also hotels such as The Oberoi and the world’s tallest JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, along with hotel apartments and freehold offices.
The Business Bay Metro Station offers residents and employees in the area easy accessibility to other places in the emirate. Improved road links, private marinas and water taxis are also expected to cater to the transportation needs of residents and visitors once the Dubai Water Canal Project gets completed. The project will also feature covered waterside pedestrian lanes, cycling paths and walkways. It will, therefore, be fun for residents to wander and get lost in its rows of restaurants, retail shops and shopping centers.
Business Bay also has the advantage of being close to the main tourist spots including Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Mall and the rest of Downtown Dubai, and the whole stretch of SZR near the district. The place offers residents enough options to dine, shop and relax.
Studio units in the area can be rented from Dh74,000 to Dh94,000; one-bedroom apartments range from Dh85,000-118,000 while a two-bedroom costs between Dh129,000 and 156,000. Dh175,000-206,000 and Dh232,000-307,000 are the rates for three and four-bedroom apartments, respectively.
• Business Bay is composed of several residential and commercial buildings
• It has easy accessibility to the Metro and other public transportation networks
• A studio can be rented at Dh74,000 going up to Dh307,000 for a four-bedroom
