When people contemplate investing in the property sector, the location factor assumes paramount importance apart from security and facilities on offer. Business Bay ticks the right boxes in this regard and in umpteen other aspects, too.
Business Bay’s unique selling points are its central location and its proximity to the UAE’s most prestigious strip of real estate, Downtown Dubai. Residential and commercial properties, including hotels (the world’s tallest hotel JW Marriott Marquis and The Oberoi are located here), thrive in the area.
An increasing number of people are moving to this area because of its superb residential options on offer. Being in the immediate neighbourhood of Downtown Dubai translates to the fact that one can still benefit from the stunning views of world-class landmarks Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Fountain and The Dubai Mall. Numerous dining choices also abound.
Despite all the advantages, Business Bay’s property rates are lower compared to those in Downtown Dubai.
Furthermore, landscaped greenery, glorious sunsets and a range of exceptional amenities render a unique lifestyle to its residents.
The ease of location was one of the fundamental factors that enticed the Bhojwani family to find a home in Business Bay. Residing in the Executive Towers facilitates easy commute for Pradeep Bhojwani, who owns a shop near the Dubai Museum in Bur Dubai. With a smooth bus ride of 20 minutes, the factor of convenient commuting also holds good for their children, Bianca and Mitansh, who study at GEMS Modern Academy in Nad al Sheba.
The family, who has been living in Business Bay for five years now, is one amongst the umpteen happy families residing in this hive of high-toned residences. Pradeep’s wife, Jaanvi, is glad that the area has evolved over the years and has transformed into a stable residential haven with good security and scores of facilities. She and her family are pleased to avail themselves of the numerous opportunities that they missed in their previous residence in Bur Dubai.
“There is no doubt that Executive Towers is a child-friendly place. My kids love to use the play area and have a huge set of friends to play with. The Olympic-size swimming pool, skate park, trampoline, swings and large cycling space – these are just a few of the amenities that my children love,” she says.
Jaanvi adds that the area is vibrant and lively, yet offers enough security and privacy. With a host of fit-ness facilities like jogging tracks, a yoga centre, a gymnasium and a swimming pool, she is happy to admit that she has taken to a fitter lifestyle and enjoys going for evening walks.
According to Jaanvi, their apartment in Tower J offers magnificent views of the sea and Shaikh Zayed Road, and that “it is fun to view the grand fireworks taking place at The Palm on New Year’s Eve from the comfort of our balcony.”
She says that the area is abuzz with events and activities all year round such as holiday celebrations and skating competitions. “Summer, especially during the Dubai Summer Surprises, is characterized with a wide variety of indoor events. All these give a festive atmosphere and add cheer to the area,” says Jaanvi.
The only negative about the place is the noise of ongoing construction. “However, this is typical of evolving communities and this will get fixed in a matter of time,” Jaanvi concludes.
