Perfectly located within a striking distance to Shaikh Zayed Road (SZR), The Meadows sits just a few minutes away from major hubs like Dubai Marina, Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City and Dubai Knowledge Village.
Characterised by tree-lined streets and spacious homes, The Meadows is a gated community that promotes a healthy, outdoor lifestyle. It is part of Emirates Living, a world-class master-planned community that also includes The Springs, Emirates Hills and The Lakes.
A peaceful and verdant development, The Meadows consists of two-storey three to seven-bedroom villas.
Riaz Daud and Tasneem Shakir have been residing in The Meadows since 2004. Before shifting to the community, the Daud family was residing in Sharjah.
“The two areas are incomparable,” affirms Riaz, who feels fortunate to buy their property at the time of its launch. “At that time, not many people seemed to have an idea of the Dubai freehold market, but we were confident about this property and put in our entire savings into buying it. I am happy to say that there has been no looking back.”
Reminiscing their early days in The Meadows, Riaz says, “On our street of 50 villas, hardly ten were occupied. Now, there is a waiting list of people who want to own a property here.”
It goes without saying that the Dauds have experienced a phenomenal change in their lifestyle. With greenery all over, serenity has taken centrestage in their lives.
The place’s easy access to malls, cafes and restaurants has also completely changed their lifestyle for the better.
Citing the reasons for choosing The Meadows as their home, Riaz enumerates, “The Meadows was nothing but love at first sight. All of us, including my wife and daughters, were just in awe of this place and our experience is getting better by the day. The biggest plus point of living here is its accessibility to SZR. Residents enjoy an extensive range of lifestyle amenities.”
“It is a very safe and secure area for children to grow up in,” both Riaz and Tasneem say. Their daughters Abeer, Mariam and Insia literally grew up in the area, and the couple feels that the place is absolutely child friendly.
Riaz adds, “Here, homeowners have it all in spades – gyms, pools, play areas, jogging tracks, surrounding lakes, round-the-clock security and, most of all, a friendly neighbourhood. It is surely a family paradise.”
Although Riaz’s workplace is in Sharjah and he has to spend more than an hour on the road on a daily basis, the good part is that he goes against the traffic, which proves advantageous for him.
His daughters, who were studying at the American University of Sharjah and the Dubai Scholars in Ghusais, did not mind the long commute as the beautiful community with superb facilities outweighed everything.
The family’s residence offers panoramic views of the greenery and the Dubai skyline. “With clouds hovering on the skyline during winter, the view is just breathless,” describes Riaz.
The community is virtually free from noise pollution, an ideal location to unwind. The greenery in the area also helps maintain relatively lower temperatures during summer compared to other areas.
The Daud family has hardly anything negative to pinpoint about this residential address. They said that they are happy that the management accepts suggestions, helping the community evolve.
