Gardens with flowers in different hues, streets lined with tall trees housing a multitude of bird species and villas designed in modern Arabesque style with walls awash in sand colour. Such is the picture-perfect image of The Springs, a community with happy and satisfied residents.
Radhakrishnan Induchudan, an Aircraft Engineer with Emirates Airlines, found his home in The Springs three years back. His family, who stayed in Ghusais prior to their move to The Springs, regards their current home a dream come true and probably nothing short of a fairyland.
A peaceful pocket away from the hustle and bustle of traffic, The Springs was a welcome change for the family who used to face the heavy traffic in their previous area of residence.
Radhakrishnan’s wife Dhanalaxmi, who works as a Primary School Teacher at JSS International School, loves her lifestyle in this quiet component of Emirates Living.
“The family’s move to The Springs is a real blessing. It is so peaceful and quiet that there is no need to go to any resort on weekends. It gives a true feeling of relaxation and peace,” she says.
“Waking up every morning to the sweet chirping of birds in the garden and going for a walk to the nearby pond area when the weather allows are some of the things that I look forward to each day. The sound of the fountain evokes a positive vibe to kickstart my day,” she adds.
According to Dhanalaxmi, the community exudes a positive feel as no matter how hectic one’s day is, it has a magical calming effect on the senses. “When you swing by the garden sipping a cup of tea, you feel tranquility taking over your senses – the stress from work all forgotten in an instant.”
Cleanliness can be rated as one of the biggest hallmarks of The Springs apart from the tranquility factor.
Another highlight is its strategic location; it is located at the tip of Al Khail Road, making it accessible to Shaikh Mohammad bin Zayed Road and Shaikh Zayed Road within a matter of minutes. Such ease in location of this all-villa development makes driving to different places convenient. It takes Dhanalaxmi and Radhakrishnan ten minutes and 30 minutes, respectively to drive to their workplaces. Also, it only takes about 20 minutes for their daughter Isha to reach her school, GEMS Wellington Academy, at Dubai Silicon Oasis.
Dhanalaxmi reveals that the community has quite a number of amenities and facilities such as a firm yet friendly security, children’s park, swimming pool, two nurseries, a school, a pond and a community centre which comprises shops and fitness facilities.
A warm community feel is yet another positive attribute of The Springs. “Large and festive get-togethers which pull massive crowds like Diwali, Eid and Halloween serve as great opportunities for us to interact with our neighbours and build a better and friendlier community,” says Dhanalaxmi.
The only drawback about the community, according to Dhanalaxmi, is the lack of supermarket in the area, but a shopping mall with a supermarket and cinema is slated to open soon.
“It is something that the whole community eagerly awaits. Overall, we can say that The Springs stays true to its heritage yet it captures the hearts of people from various cultures and ages,” concludes Dhanalaxmi.
