Downtown Dubai is, hands down, the most coveted business address in the UAE. Home to the world’s tallest building (Burj Khalifa) and largest mall (The Dubai Mall), setting up in one of the towers in the area would certainly bring prestige and power to any company.
Occupying the top spot among the many office space options in the area is the Burj Khalifa itself, which boasts several floors of offices designed for the crème de la crème in business. Choices come as shell and core and fitted offices in a wide range of sizes. All the units here provide occupants with a visual tapestry of the Dubai skyline, the Dubai Fountain, the landscaped greens and the magnificent layout of the district.
The twin-tower Boulevard Plaza offers spacious fitted, serviced and shell and core office space spread in more than 30 levels. The towers boast high-end security and ample parking plus sweeping views of the city.
Corporates on the hunt for fitted offices may consider the six-building Emaar Square, which offers several units complemented with advanced technology and modern amenities. The two high-rise Burj Place, meanwhile, is a mixed-use development with a wide selection of offices on the lower floors.
One of the most highly anticipated projects that is expected to add several square metres of office space to the area’s existing stock is the Dubai Design District specifically constructed for companies in the architectural, arts and design fields. The Opera District is another ongoing development that will be home to luxury hotels and a massive multi-purpose venue that will host cultural and artistic activities, among others.
Surrounding the different office and residential towers is a maze of hotels, restaurants, cafes and retail shops that creates a distinct vibrant vibe to the place, allowing employees to easily slip into leisure mode once they get out of their workplaces.
With its myriad offerings, there is no doubt that Downtown Dubai is indeed the “Centre of Now.”
