In a bid to become the prime center for educational excellence in the region, Dubai opened its doors to a learning hub of international universities, training institutes and HR consultants called the Dubai Knowledge Village (DKV). Established in 2003, it became the world’s only free zone area dedicated to training, human resource management and personal development.
Set in a one-kilometer-long campus, DKV has 20 interconnected buildings housing more than 15 reputed universities and 200 educational institutions from across the globe. Notable among them are the University of Wollongong, University of New Brunswick, UAE University and many more. It has over 490 business partners within its boundaries including SHRM, Eton Institute, City & Guilds, CEB-SHL, Towers Watson, Carmichael Fisher, Hays, Hewitt and Innovative HR Solutions.
DKV offers many opportunities to promote talent resource and management in the fields of human resource development, executive management, linguistics, assessment and testing, research and development, human resource consultancy, academic service provider, freelancers, non-profit organizations and retailers.
It also offers a wide range of facilities and amenities for tenants and visitors to enjoy like fully equipped conference halls and meeting rooms, food courts, coffee shops, restaurants, supermarkets and retail outlets.
The Business Center offers commercial space, offices and hot desks. The beautifully designed campus is close to other local attractions including Dubai Media City, Emirates Golf Club and Dubai Marina. It provides many amenities like a food court, sports fields, medical services, pharmacy, printing, travel services and a gym.
