One of the most exciting and beautiful sections of the emirate of Sharjah is undoubtedly the Buhaira Corniche. Spectacular skyscrapers dot the skyline in the area and their reflections bounce off the shimmery waters of the Khalid Lagoon.
The man-made lagoon starts at the Sharjah Port and meanders through the Corniche. It is framed by an attractive, 100-metre high fountain.
The Al Majaz Waterfront is a leisure destination by the lagoon. It features a variety of recreational options including a splash park and a children’s art area. It also has dining outlets and a waterfront mosque.
One of the most popular mixed-use towers in Buhaira Corniche is the RobotPark Tower, considered an iconic structure. It offers several floors of office space aside from residential options. Apart from the regular amenities such as meeting and conference rooms, and banquet facilities, occupants of this tower can also avail themselves of the luxurious touch that comes in the form of spas, Jacuzzis and a health club. The tower’s key element is its robotized parking facility. Using the latest phone technology, owners can store and retrieve their vehicle from the parking spot in minutes.
Yet another preferred address on the Corniche is the Crystal Plaza, a mixed-use complex which houses a shopping mall. It boasts a commercial tower and two residential buildings providing premium facilities such as recreational areas, restaurants, round-the-clock security, among others.Located a few minutes away from the Khalid Lagoon, it offers excellent views of the azure waters.
There are many other commercial and mixed-use towers lining the Corniche. Other establishments found in the area are hotels such as the Corniche Al Buhaira Hotel, hospitals like the Sharjah Corniche Hospital and Corniche Medical Centre, pharmacies, optical shops, clinics, cafes and restaurants.
